This article says that gay is the new black, but I think not! Please don't get me wrong, I do understand where they are coming from, but I do believe that there is a very distinct difference between the Civil Rights Movement for people of color and the Gay Rights Movement. Gay is not my thing, but I support human rights.

I hardly think gay is the new black the blacks in america have gone through years of punishment and slavery. The homosexuals in america although may be discriminated against aren't forced into slavery and shackled to eachother.
